What to see in Melaka?

It's historical, cultural and natural attraction you can see the old structures built for may years. Just a 2 hour bus ride from Kuala Lumpur, it's part of our DIY itinerary and spent the whole day touring the place, not quite expensive but in return exploring and learning is a good investment indeed.
Here are some of the places we've visited.

ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CHURCH Church was built in 1849 and dedicated to St. Francis Xavier It's a neo-gothic structure was built on the site of an old ruined Portuguese church. |
QUEEN VICTORIA'S FOUNTAIN
Built in 1904 by the British and it was dedicated to Queen Victoria. A century old fountain.

FLORA DE LA MAR MARITIME MUSEUM
To get an access to this ship, buy a ticket at the booth below the ship. Displays are though interesting, and Magellan history stories are also here. It was a detailed explanations of Melaka's maritime history, informative and attractive as well.

JONKER STREET |
The famous Jonker Street, it's not like an ordinary flea market, it was definitely different. The place are varied from clothing shops, souvenirs, antiques shops and traditional foods. You can find good buys, when i say good buys cheap ones, for "pasalubongs".
The buildings and places still remain historic, it was a fulfillment knowing the history of Melaka.
